As part of Healthy Schools Recognition Program, Healthy Schools Teams are invited to submit responses to reflection, or "journal", questions. Journal responses are collected to support teams’ engagement and learning, and will be used to generate automated Journey Summary Reports. These Summaries are customized for your school and can be downloaded and shared at your team’s discretion. Responses are not shared publicly by the Healthy Schools Recognition Program team unless explicitly stated and with appropriate consent. Responses collected will be stored on your school’s Dashboard for 5 years.
Data collected at registration (e.g., demographic information) is used strictly for evaluation purposes to help us better understand the school communities we serve and to improve the program’s reach, inclusivity, and effectiveness. This data will not be shared by the Healthy Schools Recognition Program team.
No personally identifying information will be shared or published without your explicit consent.
Sharing Permissions
The Healthy Schools Recognition Program team may request permission to share selected journal responses, reflections, success stories, or pictures from participating schools for marketing or promotional purposes. These may be featured on our website, social media, reports, or other communication materials to help inspire and inform others about the impact of the Healthy Schools Recognition Program.
We are committed to sharing stories responsibly and respectfully. Before using any participant content, the team will:
- Request explicit permission from the Healthy Schools Lead/Team;
- Ensure that any identifying information (such as names of individuals or schools) is only included with your consent; and,
- Offer the option to review the content before it is shared publicly.
Participation in this sharing is completely voluntary, and choosing not to participate will not affect your involvement in the program in any way.
If you have any questions or wish to discuss sharing permissions further, please contact us!
