What are the Digital Badges?
Upon starting a new journey with the Healthy Schools Recognition Program, schools will receive a digital image file with a “Committed to a Healthy School” badge, with the school year of when the journey was initiated. Upon completion of their Healthy Schools journey, schools will receive a second digital image file with a “Healthy Schools Recognition” badge, with the school year during which the program was completed. Schools can use the digital badges to share with their school community and broader community the commitments they have made to being a Healthy School, and the years they have completed the Healthy School Recognition Program. Schools are encouraged to collect badges on an ongoing basis as they initiate and complete Healthy Schools journeys as often as needed.
When do I get my Badges?
Badges are available at two points during your journey:
- upon starting a new Healthy Schools journey (“Committed to a Healthy School 2025/26”)
- upon completing a Healthy Schools journey (“Healthy Schools Recognition Program 2025/26”)
